The Master Data Governance team's vision is to transform Master Data into a competitive advantage and key asset for Epiroc by supporting all divisions and functions in achieving their strategic and operational goals while ensuring the highest quality and sustainability of master data. Now we are looking for our next Global Process Manager in Master Data that will be part of this team, ensuring Epiroc´s processes are world-class!
Your mission
The Global Process Manager - Master Data, plays a crucial role in this transformation. You will be responsible for defining and managing standards, rules, and policies for M3's main master data objects (e.g., parts, suppliers, customers, bill of materials, employees, equipment & equipment structure, service definitions, etc.), ensuring that Epiroc’s processes are world-class and aligned with our business objectives.
As Global Process Manager, you will oversee your budget, timelines, and quality to meet organizational targets. You will define requirements by driving the definition of current and future processes and needed functionalities.
You will actively contribute to developing solutions to meet these requirements, collaborating closely with stakeholder groups, including process councils and receiving organizations, to ensure alignment and appropriate prioritization.
In the role you support training initiatives by identifying roles and competency requirements for end users. You’ll also provide content to training professionals, develop test scenarios, and perform testing to ensure readiness of templates. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the book of rules (master data policies) and offer guidance for data cleaning and migration activities.
Your profile
To excel in this role, you will need a strong business and technical background in Master Data Management and Governance for global organizations. You should have several years of experience in data analysis, data science, data architecture, and/or statistics.
You should also have professional knowledge and experience with M3, along with expertise in creating and implementing processes. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
To thrive and succeed in the role of Global Process Manager - Master Data, you are methodical, organized, and focused on business outcomes. You have the ability to take complex problems and break them down into manageable tasks efficiently. The idea that the processes you and your colleagues develop will impact the daily work of hundreds of Epiroc employees is something you see as an opportunity and a responsibility, rather than a challenge. You are committed to not only establishing clear rules but ensuring that these rules effectively help the organization achieve its goals.
